Shirdi Sai Baba (born 1838 and died October 15, 1918) spiritual leader dear to Hindu and Muslim devotees throughout India and in diaspora communities as far flung as the United States and the Caribbean.
it is believed that Sai Baba himself had a special affection for Thursdays. He used to refer to Thursdays as “Guruvaar,” which means the day of the Guru. In many of his teachings, he emphasized the importance of seeking the blessings of one's guru or spiritual guide.
This centre was inaugurated on 3rd October, 2004 in the presence of devotees of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba & Shri Sathya Sai Baba. Shri Sathya Sai Centre - Curepipe is a spiritual centre for devotees of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and Shri Sathya Sai Baba located in Curepipe, Mauritius. The centre provides a platform for Sai devotees to engage themselves in the meditation, bhajan and other spiritual activities. The centre also holds many religious activities such as special talks showcasing Shri Shirdi Sai Baba’s and Shri Sathya Sai Baba's valuable teachings, teachings of various religious texts, etc. Thus, the centre provides an atmosphere where devotees can have spiritual peace and develop their divine qualities.
